The faculty, staff, and students of Texas A&M University, take great pride in our campus. The Council for the Built Environment (CBE) was established in 2002 to ensure the physical campus supports the university's core missions of teaching, research and service. Our goal is to provide a safe, secure, and functional learning and working environment as well as to create one that supports future growth and inspires learning and discovery.
Within these pages, you will find information on our council members, sub-councils, the recommendations we make to the president, and the decisions the president makes related to our physical environment. In addition, you will find information for the process by which the CBE operates and how to submit a request.
